I just have a basic logitech wireless mouse. it seems to skip pause and lacks accuracy just a bit. I use X2 and with all the new busy features in and X2 in a basic track so I now need better accuracy. (man its so easy to click in the wrong or dead spots). So I'm looking for some recommendations.

I find that a wired mouse tracks better.
I use a Microsoft wired mouse, and it works fine - $14.99

It'd be funny if the trackball/mouse debate spilled over up here.
Begun, the trackball wars have.

And if I use a mouse I prefer a wired one. Less crap to go wrong.
