not to mention, you can adjust how frequently auto save kicks in.  But ctl-S is now a natural reflex...  I can do it on the "inhale"...and when listening on my first "exhale"...it's already saved.  bingo!

As to the OP, I'm sorry, but trusting a piece of metal spinning at 7200 or 10000 RPM that was delivered via a truck ...
... that originally came here by God only knows what means, salt air encrusted ship or old army truck bouncing through the jungles to the local airport, on to a puddle jumper that barely gets off the ground, to a bigger airport, then 3 connecting flights to the distribution center in the U.S. ...

It sounds funny, but that's really how it goes down ... even the more expensive parts.

Well, I dunno about the OP and I think it's kinda weird, but....... There is only one host that opens 99% of the time and DOESN'T crash or cause issues. It's not sonar ;) Frustrating, the X2 experience has been. Strange issues, some old chestnuts, and the frustration of knowing if it DID work, it would be home. Hate me, but I have to be honest.

I promise myself I will never let this this happen to me again. I'm through with you my dear. I want a divorce. This is
unacceptable. This is where I draw the line. It is time for me to DUMP SONAR.  Your behavior Sonar is so unprofessional.
If you want to play in the big leagues Sonar, then you must perform worthy of that stature. You are a phony Sonar. You
deny yourself greatness by your results and your results stink. You have sunk so low that you have even lost me.

Dear Sonar, I can't change you, I can only change me. So that is where I stand. My last stand. Goodbye.

Well I don't know how well you understand how Sonar works, but if you want to write my divorce letter to my soon-to-be-ex wife, you've got the job!
(I will soon be moving on from my wife, but Sonar is definitely staying!)

You know me pretty well, we've had some good conversations, so tell me, honestly, which you know me well enough that you can ... how in the 'h' 'e' double hockey sticks did X2 end up running so well on my system ... yet is giving a lot of you the problems I had with X1, which you didn't experience back on X1?

I can't wrap my marbles around it.

Did I accidentally download the corporate version that actually works? LOL!

It's called the curse of the hosts Bub. Though there are some things that actually work consistently, there are gnomes having a good time driving us lot nuts. Yeah, I actually believe that! :D

It's amazing how many slight variations in hardware and software there are, to cause such a weird mix of clean/buggy out there.

Between the bios, cpu, chipsets, 3rd-part hardware and software, it's really quite wild how many different configurations there are.

Bub - I just LOVE that pic.  I felt JUST like that the other night.

If you remember Bub I was often joking that I must have had a different version of X1 to many users. The stability that many are seeing with X2 is the experience I had with X1. That made me a fanboi though.
