What brought you to sonar out of curiosity?  Great forum here

Well, I started on the original Cakewalk MIDI Sequencer back in the 90s and I'm a WINDOWs guy and have no plans (or desire) to switch to MAC.

Last year Pro Tools was having lots of problems and I was looking for an alternate DAW - so I downloaded the SONAR demo and hacked around for several months.

I liked the sound of the finished projects that users on this forum were posting links to.  I'm really just a home studio singer/songwriter type and it seemed SONAR was better for my current needs.  I already had too many plug-ins and a UAD Apollo - so I just went with SONAR Pro.

Was also impressed that the CEO (Noel?) takes the time to respond to posts in the forum, and I think CAKEWALK is doing a pretty good job with the monthly update cycle.

(For the record, the latest Pro Tools Vanilla 12.8.2 is better and they've fixed many of the bugs.)

Alt - Click and drag wins the Sonar Forum internet tonight - can't wait to try this.

Yes, ALT drag will allow you to move tracks around in the console view - the only bit of "learning" is getting used to where on the console strip to click but you should get it in a few tries

Are you kidding me... alt click and drag moves the tracks in console view...................

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!
This has been bugging me for a while.
