Get all Pro CHANNELS modules as normal VST plugins instead of need to use them thru Pro Channel would be nice.
It ‘stupid that I need to use the PRO Channel GUI to use the modules them. We should have both ways.
I know for a fact that all modules are just normal 2.4 VST plugins.

Where do I access these extended plugins?  I particularly want the consoles and tube saturator.  Yet they don't appear in my list of scanned plugins.

you misconstrued the post.. pro channel modules are pro channel modules, not vst plugins.

But the manual says that the console emulator can indeed be had as a standalone plugin.

I am personally not impressed with the tube saturator (unless trying to fix a poor bass guitar track) or the console emulator. Sounds like digital distortion/fuzz/ garbage to me. Though I have yet to find a emulator of any kind really that doesn't do that... They all kinda fall short.

Tube saturation, isn't the idea to add distortion to a clean digital source, to make it sound more analog, to emulate a tube's imperfections, perhaps "warm up" a digital sound source ?

Just back the knob off. It only works when it's subtle.

munmun . . . I may be wrong, but I think the console emulator is the only prochannel "stand alone" plugin.
Freddy would like all the prochannel modules to be stand alone VST. Since it hasn't happened yet, it might not.

Breverb also comes as a normal VST plugin because that's the way Overloud chose to include it.  But I don't think any of the other PC plugins do.  But what you can do with those not delivered with SONAR (LA2A, Concrete Limiter, etc) is add more than one instance.

That's the one module that I'm not overly impressed with either. The Softube "Big knob" or whatever it's called is however superb.

Just goes to show how subjective these things are,  because to me, the big Softube knob sounds like poop.  The only tube emulation that ships with Sonar and sounds any good to me is the tube in the EQ strip of the VX64 Vocal Strip.
