I know that MOTU does (or at least it did).   I bought MOTU Ethno direct from MOTU, but MOTU Symphonic I bought from Ebay.

Are there any other companies that let you re-sell their instruments, and where's a good place to pick those up besides Ebay?

There's a very long list of companies that let you re-sell their products.....

KVR is a good place to buy/sell/trade audio related stuff, but remember that you're buying from private parties and once in awhile, there are scammers selling illegal stuff. Generally, if they have a long standing post count and they have good feedback (see Feedback Thread), the odds are they're "somewhat" trusted. A low post count is a red flag in my book and I avoid buying/selling to them.

Of note, I've got some excellent deals over the years and generally the unwritten rule is to get it around 50% less than what the normal price it's going for.

This is something I need 2 no as well.  Good thread.  I've only bought used from:  Native Instruments and MOTU.  BTW if you buy used from someone (at native instruments) I'm not sure whether you can then sell it.  I bought Komplete 10 used and now my account says it's not eligible for transfer.

It used to be as long as you DID NOT buy a download. That may have changed IDK.

That has been changed and you CAN re-sell downloaded serials as long as they weren't used as an upgrade path to get the software (when the seller initially purchased it).

This thread at KVR attempts to answer the question, but since it started almost 4 years ago, may be a bit outdated.

That's good news for those in the "resell/buy" market.

I plan to keep what I have so it's mox-nix for me.
