lets make this clear i dont want a tablet to power any software my desktop does that i just want a decent tablet on windows that i can use to have remote access to my pc so i can use sonar on tablet while its running as fast as it possibly can hence the remote access

Apple mobile device with ac7. Works good as a control surface for Sonar 7. I'm sure the are some control surface software for windows tablets. Or at least I would hope so. 

not sure how many times the op has to say he he wants a windows tablet... but if its even once (nevermind three and counting)the answer is not an ipad. :)

I FINALLY understand - my recent coffee intake has awakened my neurons.

Please ignore my ignorance - I do see what you wish to do, but do not have any level of expertise on available tablets to be able to offer any useful input.

Again, sorry - please forgive me (at least I didn't tell you to buy an iPad, so I got THAT going for me....)

He just said tablet. Honestly just trying to help. Obviously I like the apple stuff. But I'm the same way for Windows when talking to apple zealots. Devils advocate.  Lol.
