Hey!

Is there a keycommand  if I want to change tempo on a audioloop to fit tempo on the project? In Cubase I only had to press ctrl+T.

And is there aa way to duplicate audio and midi clips? In Cubase it was ctrl+D..
I aam new to Sonar, really love the GUI and the bundled plugins, but  so far I feel that both Cubase and Logic have far better workflow! I hope that Cakewalk will keep working  with the workflow...:-)

Thank you!

Hi Johnny, and welcome to Sonar and the forum.

I can't help you with your workflow issues. All I can say is, Sonar is Sonar and Cubase is Cubase. Each have their own merits, I'm sure.

Why did you jump to Sonar if you prefer Cubase (and Logic), by the way?

The reason why jumped to Sonar is that  I sold my Mac and brought a monster PC. Wanted to give Sonar a try since I thinks tthat Sonar has the best GUI and its loadd with tons of plugins. I want Sonar to be my main DAW, but am using Cubase 6 til I understand the workflow in Sonar better:-)

Duplicating MIDI and audio clips could be done by either using the standard Windows cut and paste commands, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, although you have to be careful with respect to active track and Now Time marker.

The method I prefer is to select the clip and hold down Ctrl while dragging an existing clip to a new location, hence creating a copy.

I can't answer the audio loop question because I do not use loops.

Ah, I see. Well, you can get an awful lot more back for your buck that way I suppose. And I believe that the second hand value of macs is very good.

Start by turning it into a Groove CLip (Ctrl + L) Then you can stretch/shrink it

As the other guys said, use Windows standard command - Ctrl + c, Ctrl + x, Ctrl + v
Be careful about what data you are selecting.
There are also Copy Special & Paste Special options
