"Hello Mr Glitch Free Linear Phase Equalizer.  How are you doing today?  Would you like to come and play in my hard disk?  I'll make lots of coffee, and lots of chocolate chip cookies!  We can master our tracks together, and I'll even give you the center spot in my favorite FX Chain!"

I think the webinar started late. You probably tuned in before it started and one of the older sessions was up. I did the same thing. I kept logging on until I got connected. I think it started about 15 min. late.

FWIW: It did start exactly on time.
Indeed, it did. To add on, if you were running a browser that didn't support Flash, or perhaps had an outdated version of Flash, then you wouldn't have seen the live webinar feed as it relies on Flash. For example, you wouldn't have been able to watch the webinar on Chrome for Android or any iOS device.

Huhh? Magic then, cause I watched the x2 webinar live on my iPad, using safari...

I could be wrong, but I was told by the video guys that the live stream applet uses Flash. I could be wrong, though. Web assets are not my field of expertise.

More great features. I give the automation modes a very big "like"

The live stream applet might use html 5 video for any device that doesn't support flash, and all supported devices get flash. That's the way youtube handles it now. It detects what device is being used.

Great Webinar.. I do have a question about the content. They stated that track layers are gone and have been replaced with the new track lanes. If I open a project created with a previous version that included layers will they be converted to lanes?
