The low end always seems to get lost in digital transmission and/or video distribution/playback.

Really solid arrangement.  And yes, the drummer has more "presence"...very inviting.

However as slick as the video production is, I tend to get bored with only music shots and wouldn't have minded some cutaways or visuals to "punch up the action".

Overall super-slick and hi-tech production.  Certainly worth the time and trouble to sit back, enjoy and appreciate.  Thanks for the share, Peter!

Cheers,
Erin

Thanks for the comments, Erin.

As I said in my first post, these videos are all part of a "Making of..." DVD. The shots in the studio are more of a documentary type than an actual music video.

Your comments are much appreciated though.
@stevec - Thanks for watching and commenting.

Wow what a pleasant surprise. The arrangement is very tight. I like the video work too.

Just wondering if you might put some behind-the-scenes stuff in there to make the "making of" more personal.  Seems like there was good response to your drummer's on-camera/stage-presence.  Maybe something like that in good taste would break up the monotony.  You know how ADHD everyone is these days.  Thanks for your response to my original suggestion....and, the high quality production.

I absolutely agree with you. We still have to film a number of interviews regarding the actual recording, songwriting and overall production. The final DVD will run for about an hour.

Thanks for your input Boost, it's much appreciated.

Cheers

Peter.

Now you're talkin', Peter!

I personally would enjoy seeing video interviews and having the feeling of being there.  Really nice concept.  Sure hope you will share some of those other clips and a final product.  I have an affinity for behind-the-scenes clips.  Have shot many in the form of documentaries and always watch them on DVD movies.  Yeah...I'm one of the people who watch/read the credits to the very end.

Enjoyed the Discourse,

Absolutely, Erin.

When the DVD is finished I'll let you know. Send me your postal address and I'll send you a copy of the final product.

That's why I still like to make cds. On the cd version I added liner notes also explaining a bit about each track, what gtrs were used, amps etc. Obviously my albums are also available for download but I've always found that reading the cd notes while listening to the album was always a nice thing to do.

Cheers and thanks for the interest.

Man I wish I hadn't listened to this.....feel like throwing my guitar away now, may even have to go back to playing the cowbell. Really like the drive the music has and guitar tone was perfect for that piece. I'd be in heaven to have backup music like that to practice and jam to. Actually I'd be in heaven if I could play guitar half that good.
Is the audio recording mixed on Sonar or ? capg
