Nice work, and sweet guitar tone.

I love this!  I, too, feel the low end is on the light side, but the snare drum sounds great.  Everything else is spot on.  This song raises the bar around here.

Man I wish I hadn't listened to this.....feel like throwing my guitar away now, may even have to go back to playing the cowbell. Really like the drive the music has and guitar tone was perfect for that piece. I'd be in heaven to have backup music like that to practice and jam to. Actually I'd be in heaven if I could play guitar half that good.
Is the audio recording mixed on Sonar or ? capg

Thanks so much for the comments John, Lynn, Guitarhacker and CaptG.
The song was tracked and mixed in Sonar X1. That was the latest version when I recorded the song. I used Waves compressor plug ins on the drums but all the rest of the efx used were Sonar plug ins. I could easily have used the Sonar compressors but I've been using the Waves ones for so long now that I just stuck to what I'm used to.

I mastered the final track in Adobe Audition. The video was edited in Sony Vegas.

Cheers,
Peter.

Thanks, Peter.

Really good to know what all you used to make this happen.  Sounds like the right tools for the job.

Love the liner note work.  That is extra special, and yes, nice to read over while listening.  Later, you always keep these in mind whenever listening.  Nice touch.  Guess that's similar to what I've been doing with descriptions on a You Tube channel I am creating...along with weblinks and keywords to help it rank.

So many neat tools to work with these days.  Much more affordable...and custom, than the big labels doing it all for you. In my opinion

Looking forward to seeing, and hearing more!

Cheers, Erin,

Especially with instrumental music you've got to make it as interesting as possible for the listener. I really hope that's what I've achieved.

Excellent song!  the bass oscillator at the beginning reminded me of Rush in the Moving Pictures era.  mix sounded great.  I could have used a little more low end, too, but it wasn't horrible.
