In the Track View, when I right click on an empty space within a track, it sets that track as active. I like that feature, since it means I don't have to go over to the track header to do it.

However, right click also opens a popup menu ("Edit", "View", "Import MIDI"). This is visually distracting.

Is there a way to either prevent the popup menu from appearing, or use a different type of click to set a track as active?

double-left click in the same empty space in a track.

Double clicking does that.

How did you guys learn all these different clicking options? Is there an attractive cheat sheet somewhere? Or is a matter of memorizing the help docs?

i just click on everything everywhere as many times as i can trying to break the software and find out what i really CAN'T do. :D
