  1. All of a sudden, scrolling in the prv stops happening. requires a reboot of Sonar
  2. Grouping the solo buttons of various tracks results is some, but not all reacting to the solo button
  3. Everytime I switch to track view and then back to prv, the prv lanes are all minimised (Smart grid is OFF)
  4. Snap randomly reset itself to 1/4, 1/1, 1/2 - there seems to be no formula to produce this at will
  5. Clicking the Automation lane of ANY Midi track is also opening up other previously hidden tracks. It's not opening up all other tracks, just a few, though the ones opened, or rather made visible, are always "below" the selected track in the hierarchy and it will always be a complete folders worth of tracks
  6. Controller data. Entering CC11 (Expression data) normally gets written to the Midi track. I have a situation where there are 2 Midi tracks for each synth - one for note data, one for Keyswitch data. Sometimes, the CC11 data gets written to the Ks track and not the Note track, even though the Note track is selected and contains note/velocity data
  7. Track view. I have 3 black lines running across the clips pane. They seem to embedded into the entire project, because no matter what combination or size of tracks i select, they're always visible - even with a selected track fully maximised.

I think a couple of screen shots might help. no, they don't cause any problems, but i think it;s symptomatic of a deeper, underlying problem with the graphics

Bristol Jonesey,

I started a thread about this awhile ago....

http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2680129

Read thru the responses... it appears that CAKE changed the behavior of PRV and the scrolling of this window is controllable without rebooting.

I've read that thread.

Not sure it applies to me because the prv doesn't scroll for me when I'm not editing, just playing.

How does Sonar even know if I'm editing or playing?

I'm not saying it NEVER scrolls - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It always seems to get a bit buggy when switching screensets

I have noticed this, but assumed I was misunderstanding the role of the new snap module, but it throws me everytime. Do you have smart grid enabled?

No, smart grid is disabled.

Are you reporting these to Cakewalk as bugs. I may have also seen the snap randomly resetting itself, but I wasn't paying close enough attention to be sure it's a bug, and not me doing something wrong.

I would do FB but a lot of it isn't repeatable by any sort of formula - it's random - the worst possible type of bug

The only thing remotely close to seeing any sort of correlation is when switching screensets.

Then Karl certainly has to have seen something similar...
