The snap value is supposed to change at certain zoom levels so as you get closer the value increase, and as you zoom out it decreases.   But only if Smart Grid & Snap are enabled.   I think.

That's what's happening here. I must not have realized Smart Grid was on. Once I turned it off, everything worked like expected and the Snap values stayed the same. Thanks!

In the Track View, go to Options > Click Behavior and uncheck "Left Click Locks Scroll."  

The idea is that, if you click to edit data with that enabled, we stop scrolling so that you can continue to make adjustments in the area you're working in.  When you want to start scrolling again, you can right-click the top half of the time ruler.  It's supposed to re-enable scrolling after you stop/restart playback...  But that doesn't appear to be working correctly.

What about any of the other issues noted above?

From my expereience #7 is video card related. Try running X2 on a different computer known to have different hardware. Some graphics chips seem to have a hayday with Sonar.
