Glad it makes sense.  I haven't done anything with Lanes yet.  My brain still hurts from the CONTENT of my current project, above and beyond the Sonar mechanics - bad music transcends ALL product whimsies and fubars.

Why not just look in the menu bar to see what options there are?
 
Like click on Edit and you get:
 
Cut                    Ctrl+X
Cut Special        Ctrl+Alt+X
Copy                  Ctrl+C
Copy Special      Ctrl+Alt+C
Paste                 Ctrl+V
Paste Special     Ctrl+Alt+V
X2 has really gone "special"!
 
X1 had similar but fewer optons.

That's finally what I did, the whole point of using the shortcut was to avoid the menu bar in the first place.

I didn't think they would change the shorcuts from X1 to X2.
