Hello,

I'm having a real annoying problem with Sonar X1. When I record some tracks, I'd always have to use the 'Nudge 2' to push it in place. Initially, I thought the interface I was using was the cause but after upgrading to Focusrite 8i6 (Previously, I had a Toneport UX2), the issue still remains.

I've searched and found out that I'd have to play with the values for 'Manual Offset' in the preferences but I've not clue on how to set it?

Would love to hear some thoughts on this,

Best,
Irfan

Press P to open the preferences. Click on the advanced option toward the bottom left and then Customization-->Snap & Nudge.

You can adjust the settings there.

No no, I think you misunderstood my problem.

Let's say, I'm gonna punch in a guitar part for a track. I hit record, and its a perfect take. However, when I replayed it, the clip seemed to be out of time in which it comes in milliseconds too early that I'd have to use Nudge 2 to punch it into place. Maybe it could be a bad take and my ears are playing tricks on me, I tried recording again. Same thing happened.

So, you're wanting to know how much  to nudge it?
