because some just dont want AND cant calm down if they are stopped in workflow .......some are different ! I got realy nervous ,this access cost 1200 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have no workflow at present. Otherwise you wouldn't be here.

Now how is your TI hooked up to your computer and what is the symptom? What are you trying to do? A step by step description will help us understand whats going on.

I tested my system now for 3 days ...also used the access ´s usb sound card ....still it has this delay on recordings on my sonar x1 expanded ....well I dunno ,sry

I have a similar problem with the Access TI.
It takes up to 2000 ms (2 seconds !!) to hear a sound, by pressing a key. When I record the Access TI to Sonar X2, I can go drinking coffee, before I hear the sound.
I read in german forums that this must be a problem with drivers from Access.

I bought the access TI for a few days and this was my first experience. I still have no solution.

So are you guys using the TI as a sound module? As a MIDI keyboard controller? As both?

What is your setup for X1? What is the bit depth and sample rate and how is it hooked up?

OK

The Ti was just pluged in , and the newest OS and drivers were installed ----my PC Intel Dx58SO .....and MOTU ultralite (MK1) via FW ....(TI on DX 58SO)

I loaded the plugin of access TI into my X1 exp. which is using the MOTUS main outs to feed my SPL2 and its attached dynaudios.
All fine ...sound good ... Use USB and analog for comparison a few hours ....found USB outs of access sounding good ....so started 2 record the first arpeggios.... I use 44khz 32Bit in sonar x1.
....To find out that the recordings did not allign perfectly with the midi data ...20-100ms .
tryed different presets ,snares .....bells with fast attacks......again while rendering it in sonar X1 exp. it would not even record the first snare hit ; or bell "stroke" ...I have experimented ; put an EXTRA empty Bar at the start point of the recording , so the bounce would first glide over an empty bar of no data .....it worked ,,,,,Only then the recording would be tight and right on the spot on the first bar ; exact on the first samples ......like it was programmed as midi (eg. snare ,bells ,fast attax sound).
I also switched to USB access ´s audio drivers ; same issue in my X1 exp. with it .
I did everything that access setup for sonar has instructed.

PS : I can only come to the conclusion ,that my sonar X1 exp is not right tweaked ...it has so many options ; I highly start 2 think they are not best for my PC ?
I need to change them sure........ somehow
DPC check latency:   ....GOOD!

system (harddrives very full ...but )

Sonar has ADC Automatic Delay Compensation. Its been a part of Sonar for a very long time. However what you describe seems to be a hardware and a software combination that is not compensating. The TI hardware is producing the sounds if I read you correctly. The trigger is coming from a plugin within X1. I believe it maybe the plugin that is causing the problem but it maybe the hardware.

What does the plugin do? What is it for?

BTW you can turn off ADC and you can manually enter a delay so things line up. But we haven't gotten that far yet.

Before we do anything try this, increase your MIDI buffer in preferences under MIDI playback and recording.   Put it at 500.

The access TI plugin is a controll software for the synths sounds .Containig a sound  browser ; output selections , and the common synth parameters pages like OSC setup and Filter setup.
I believe it is quit the same as the KORG M3´s integration plugin.
Its VST.

Realy the trick with the empty bar ,seems to work ...but its not so cool. I  have to let the rendering include an empty midi bar , then its tight . So sonar seems to have a jump in record problem with my TI ? .

The sad part is ,the access works perfectly now when i use it on a cubase project , and I realy do not want to go back to it again . Sonar has made much simpler ,and faster ; I love it.
I do exactly the same now in x1 then in the cubase ....realtime bouncing .

That is what I thought it was.  So far so good. Do the buffer increase and try that  I take it you are triggering the TI with MIDI from tracks within X1? Is that a true statement?

yes triggering within X1 -

I just put buffer up to 500 ...still the same delay on recordings .

PS: for some strange reason in the preferences menue synch and caching of audio ,THE tab "record latency Adjustment" I can not select any device rather then a low generic asio ----it shows all others like the motu or access usb ; but if selected ; it will just jump back to the Generic low asio driver ? This is the problem I guess.

Leave it there it wont hurt to do that.

On the TI what mode is it in? It has 3 modes one is for the use you are putting it now. That is called sequencer mode.

Now the mode should not have anything to do with a delay but you never know until its checked.

sequencer mode

If used with the plugin ,it jumps there .
