So if I understand when you record the audio coming from the TI it is not in sync with the MIDI. It is off by a certain amount is that correct?

If so this should not be the case, but you can use nudge to move it into sync. I would think that somehow the plugin is causing the delay. Try turning it off when you are recording.

Also just to be sure where are you getting the audio from. Is it the MOTU or the TI USB? If its the USB use the MOTU. Though after rereading one of your more informative posts I don't think this is the problem.

I use hardware synths a lot and have never had a sync problem.

The access forum also claims X1 to be faulty with access tI ....dunno--I write the cakewlk programmers now ---

but thanx for the great help , I apreciate the "great" concerns

yes

Instrument track ,with a folder I have this option

bros I ate choccolate now ...Im easy again , sorry for caps ...

PS: for some strange reason in the preferences menue (sonar)  synch and caching of audio ,THE tab "record latency Adjustment" I can not select any device rather then a low generic asio ----it shows all others like the motu or access usb ; but if selected ; it will just jump back to the Generic low asio driver ? This is the problem I guess.

try splitting that into the audio/midi components (ie, 1 midi, 1 audio) or insert the vst as that (midi/audio pair) to begin with - simple instrument tracks have exhibited this behaviour for a while, not just with the virus, hth

Are you by any chance using the metronome in SONAR?   If so, try turning off the count-in.   This seems to affect NI Maschine and Mulab MUX, so perhaps the same thing happens with TI Virus.

I do have the MOTUS ins and outs active , still I cant put MOTU in the setting ? I have no clue why .

I tryed the metronome trick and splitting instrument trax ,still 100ms late the recorded TI .
