Thanks for these.

And now what we need is a dialog for meters. And ability to save presets. More selections for meters than gadgets.

My fellow UK Cake maker-Bravo -fit great with my dual monitors !!!
Thank you, they work for me - but I do revise them all the time as I find even more things screensets can do. They've even changed a bit since the X2 video was captured which was only about a month or so ago.

Question -why the sub busses

They are a hangover from a mixing template set up by Jonas (user name jsaras) that I still use to this day, although now heavily revised to take advantage of the ProChannel. They allow greater control of the stereo field and some say produce a slightly wider sound. My cloth ears can't tell the difference but I'm sure one of the older boys will know though sir.....

If you want a look at a very informative thread (and a link to the template) it is HERE

Such a good show, wish they'd made more than 2 seasons.

Funniest sitcom ever bar none. I know every episode word for word and still cry with laughter watching them.

Hey Carl,

I am sure this is a stupid question... but here goes anyway.  I down loaded the SS and have them in a temporay folder.  Is there a particular folder with in Cakewalk that these should go?  Looked through all the content and program folders and did n't see anything called screen sets within those folders.  In X2, under SS, I see the option to import screensets, but mine is greyed out.  I figured that this is really simple and I am just missing it some how.  Got to run my daughter somewhere this morning or I would start searching the manual right now.  I find cakes manual a little hard to follow sometimes.  I am a visual guy and thats why the videos work so well for me.

No such thing as a stupid question.....

It's just a dummy project for importing them from.

  • Create a new file or open an existing one.
  • Open the "Standard Ten.cwp" file (although you may need to change the Sonar setting "Allow more than one project at a time" to allow it - Prefs-->File--->Advanced)
  • Then in the target file select "import screensets" from "Standard Ten X2" either from the Screenset Control Bar Module or Main Menu-->Views--->Screensets.
Alternatively open the cwp file and save it as a template. There's just a couple of tracks and my very basic buss routing as a starting point.
