Thanks everyone, (he says bumping the topic

)
I sincerely hope you all enjoy it and get something from it. I may have gone a bit too in detail, I guess the answer to that I'll know soon enough when a few people start passing judgment.....

i agree,id love to see a breakdown list of topics karl.do you happen to have one off hand ?
I do sort of. Believe it or not I haven't seen the final post edit version yet so I'm a bit reluctant to list everything in case anything was edited out, but having said that I had several emails back and forth with Chris over at SWA, mainly me apologising for the length it had sort of grown into, which wasn't planned....... and he indicated that he was happy with it and would be using all of it.
I'm guessing at nine hours there isn't much removed if any, believe it or not I pulled some myself.
I'm working from notes so these may not each have their own dedicated video and in case of some of the bigger subjects might have three or four. All are between 8 -> 15 ish minutes. The "Matrix" demo is one of the longest and most are nearer 15 than 8.....
SO with that in mind here is a sort of breakdown......

Audiosnap (4 videos covering from housekeeping and preparation, extracting and applying tempo, drum replacement, maintaining phase relationships, extracting, saving & applying "the groove", working with the pool. All of it on real 'live' drums and other live material. i.e. not already stuff tracked at or at a set tempo)
MIXING (A little unsure of the exact order here there was some last minute rearranging done) Mixing preparation (Freezing Bouncing etc)
The Console View inc custom Grouping.
The ProChannel (inc setting up a sidechain)
FX Bins & VSTS inc R-Mix overview
FX Chains overview & creating
Automation (this is more than one video IIRC)
Exporting a Project
Just remember that I'm working without the luxury of seeing the final video so that's from my notes and a rather hazy memory so may not be 100% accurate. I'd just like to add that it was a very, very busy but enjoyable time as well, a labour of love I think you'd call it. (I was so busy I was a lot less active on the forum for a while & didn't have a single track day either

).
I approached it as if a new Sonar user with little or no studio software experience asked me to show them how to get going and then progressed to more advanced stuff as they become familiar with the terminology and program. That means there some very basic stuff at the beginning but later chapters get into the meaty stuff.
I hope you all get something from it and honest feedback is always welcome.
Thanks
Karl
PS. I'd like to thank all of you here for your support with my earlier video attmepts but also make a special mention for Jeff Evans, someone who's input I've always found helpful. It was a comment he made on my earlier youtube videos that gave me the confidence to take this on. So to Jeff a big THANK YOU.
