There are some iPad "mastering" apps already out there, I have one, that I barely use. I have taken a lot of my Sonar-based stuff and ported it into the iPad for live performance using Cubase, and it's really not bad at all, IMO. As for this software from IK, I downloaded the free version and took a look. There seems to be no way to get any stuff from Cubasis to the program, it allows importing files from iTunes library, etc. but that's not what I want to do. I can mixdown to .wav on from cubasis, but even AudioShare, Audio Copy, didn't seem to have any way to interact with the Lurssen software. Also, it does not appear to be Audiobus compatible, and that is probably a deal-breaker for me, unless they are planning on it soon, and/or will use IAA (also not supported yet, it seems, not sure), or the new equivalent of VST on iPad, the Audio Units. Seems it only would interact with GarageBand for now, and I don't feel that program is even in the same universe as Cubasis.
