I am one of those unfortunate people who did not have a successful installation of X2. In particular, I never saw any message regarding a Rapture installation; all I got was the unexpected Dimension Pro message about an old version being installed, etc. I have seen the other threads, and I know that someone has worked out a fix by making some changes to the registry, but really, that is not how it should be, and certainly not the responsibility of paying customers to try and "hack" a fix. So, I would just like to hear from Cakewalk on what they are intending to do to solve this little dilemma, and when we can expect a patch / fix? Thanks.

I, too, am experiencing Rapture rupture and, as a result, am unable to open any project in X1 or X2 that has Rapture enabled without an immediate crash.
 
I would be delighted if someone could point me in the direction of a hacked fix (can't say I like 'em because I'm not that hot a PC engineer) - I tried searching the forums (should that be fori? - no offense intended to any passing spectacle wearers...) and the most recent post on Rapture that the searches offered was from May.
 
Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

 I thought that I had read that there would be a fix available by the end of this week. Can someone from Cake verify that?
 I could probably handle the reg edit, but I'm patient enough to wait for a proper fix as long as I know that it's coming.
