Stevec:  Thanks. The pedal steel is sampled. Country isn't country without one.....at least IMHO.

Dan: Gracias for the kind words on the guitar parts and the mix.

Monty:  I tend to put my vox out front intentionally. I really don't try to sound like Willie, it just comes out that way. Thanks

Man, I thought I was listening to Willy for a minute.  Good, comfortable song, Herb.  I really enjoyed the listen.  Ok, makes me want to revisit the song we wrote "Daydream".  Time for it to live, I think.

Love the guitars and lead vocal.  Harmony is a little soft maybe.  Is that a soft organ in the background?
"Part" and "heart" sound funny with the southern accent.  Your natural voice is perfect kind of like Neil Young meets Willy.  Really nice job.

hey Herb - really nice work on this!  mix is really good, except in my opinion you have it slammed a little hard on the compression/limiting on the master for this type of music.

good balance of the instruments, tho.  great guitar work and vox.

my guess is that the steel is BIAB and the guitar is you.  what other instruments did you play?

Warren: good to see you.... thanks

Rimshot:  Yeah there's a B3 in there.... the harmonies are low on purpose. I like that style of harmony. very subtle.
Neil meets Willie... that's a compliment to me...

Reece:  All the guitars are me. The compression levels are probably more of the player in Box dot com.... the wave isn't compressed. It is typical of my other music.... lots of dynamics.   BTW: everything else there in the music is in the other box. I can send you the MP3 by email so you can hear it like it's designed to be.

Excellent!!!!! I'm listening to this on a different PC than I normally do, so the speaker system isn't that great. Although I must say it sounds excellent on this weaker speaker system setup.

I like your music Herb, your voice has grown on me over the years, not to mention I have always really enjoyed hearing your songs and songwriting style, but I have to mention how your voice has improved so much. It reminds me of Mickey Gilley if I were to pick one artist as a comparison, and I mean that as a compliment and hope you don't take that in a bad way at all. I mean that as a compliment, there are few country artist I like to hear and Mickey Gilley is one of them.

It's been a few years Herb since I've heard your music man, WOW YOU HAVE MADE SERIOUS STRIDES IN SO MANY WAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! But I've gotta say man, you've nailed it on the mixing stuff, you've always had it together on the music side of playing in my opinion, but your mixing has gotten so much better, I hope I can do so well in the future.

GREAT TUNE MAN!!!!!!! I enjoyed hearing this very much!!!!!

Excellent man!!!!!!!!!!

Nice job Herb. I think you reached clean and crisp. I enjoyed the song, never thought much about if the verb was a fit or not. Great guitar playing.

Bobby: It's not that my voice has gotten better... probably that I learned a few things about singing and more importantly, how to record it properly.  Thanks

Shawn: I liked that guitar solo too... thanks

Tim: I think I was working on writing and recording this while I was also working on the collab with you. Thanks
