Really nice, Bob.  I like the way the piano is spread across the channels.  The reverb on the vocal is a nice touch, but I would like to hear the vocal a db or two louder so that it sounds present with the piano a bit more.  The accordian and strings are just at the right volume to enhance the mood.  Good songwriting.

Nice job.   The music and arrangement reflect the lyrics well.   I like the accordion - nice touch.   Along with the vocal melody and chord changes it reminds me a little of C'est La Vie by ELP - totally different genres, I know.

Nice tune and good performance! Gabrielle is a good singable name to  write a song around too. Enjoyed it!

Very well done. Piano and vocal present an intimate space, then the other instruments come in and out, like spectators. Beautiful song as well...

Lynn,

Thanks for the kind words. I agree about the vocal being a bit low, but some say that causes the listener to turn up the volume, letting Msrs. Fletcher and Munson take over.

stevec,

Thanks for listening and the kind remarks.

teego,

Thanks a lot.

Dan,

Very nice melody and lyric.  I hear the piano dry and the lead vocal a bit wet.  I would suggest they both match in ambiance which might even make it more intimate like we captured your performance in a room somewhere.

Rimshot,

You're right. The piano needs a bit of verb. Thanks for listening.
