Hi Folks,

I haven't posted a song since I've been a member here so I'm throwing this one up for good measure. I wrote it with a "chase scene" in mind. https://app.box.com/s/n1mi77uee575qtn5p5m2

Me-Bass/Drums(SD2)/Acoustic Guitar
Jeff Sinclaire-Lead/Rhythm El Guitar
Stephen Foster-Lead Guitar
Robert Forbes-Fiddle
Hope ya like it and thanks in advance for listening...

Fiddle could do with coming up a little for me, it is a little back in the mix here.

I agree. The Fiddle could be a little louder. At first it was ear piercing in the mix so I probably over compensated when I brought the volume down. Thanks

Cool!   Fiddle is a rare thing around these parts so was nice to hear (yeah it could come up).   I would also pan the guitars away from center a bit just to free up some room.   But I liked it.

Thanks for the listen and feedback Steve. Both lead guitars are stereo, panned L/R. What do ya think? Perhaps convert to a mono track and pan a little left or right?

That was cool. That boy is playing that fiddle for sure. I agree with what has been said above, bring the fiddle up a touch and hard pan them geetars! Enjoyed the listen.

Thanks Teego. Glad you enjoyed it. I'll give it another go in a few days. I appreciate the input...

I really enjoyed the listen on this. Love the fiddle. Nothing major wrong with this, like some others said you could bring that fiddle out some more for effect...easy fix, maybe some slight eq work for separation. This is a very nice country instrumental.

Yeah, I might try that.    The last solo has a bit more "space" IMO and seems to sit better, while the first two seem to be more center panned, if that makes sense.

Thanks Starise. Good to see you here.

Steve, I converted the guitar tracks to stereo and panned them a little off center. I raised the volume on the fiddle and also brought the acoustic guitar up a bit. I'll post the new mix in a couple days.

Thanks again everyone for the suggestions...

Edit: Meant to say I converted the stereo guitar tracks to mono...
