I agree with Bub--I have version 2010 installed, and it was a resource hog. It was very difficult to disable its real-time backups (a disaster for a DAW), and I had to go into Windows administration control panel to manually disable the various services Acronis had installed. For my regular use, I'm using Windows Backup running once a week. I did find Acronis indispensable when I originally swapped out my RAID 0 boot disk for a Crucial SSD (that was a few years back). The Acronis clone function allowed me to reproduce everything from the RAID array on the SSD, without having to reinstall or re-register all the software.
