good morning everyone, things seem a bit different in X-2 as compared to sonar 6, i have a drum track (ezdrummer) where one clip is just the kick, what i'm trying to do is make the clip louder and then go back to the original volume. what i'm doing is, arm the automation, push the slider during the part i want to make louder then stop automation. now everything "looks" like it's supposed to however the volume does not change. i'm obviously missing a step. any ideas? again, thanks so much for your help.

So, can you see the automation on said track? Either on the main track or in an automation lane?

And when you hit play, does the track fader move up and down to match that automation?

I can't honestly think why it won't work. I was experimenting with exactly the same thing the other day and everything worked as expected.

do you have "READ AUTOMATION " enabled?
