But I will agree you should be able to blow up the takes but if the didn't have a height limit it would cover any current need I have in that respect. They should pop up in their own view like you said though. Didn't realize they had removed that option. Maybe next time.

I'm not that talented that I can go back to a recording several days (nevermind years) later and identify the type of guitar, pickup, amp and settings combination used. I admire you people that can. One day I'll be that good.....

In fact I've a few tracks that I wouldn't mind you telling me that info if you're interested...

...the sound of the ceramic magnet speakers is unmistakable.

Once you break thru, you'll find it's a lot easier to simply dial up the sound you want at any given moment than to go read notes about how you got it last time.

I'm just in awe.... mind you I can hear when something's out of tune, I guess that's a start - so I'm on the long path to greatness....

If you really need notes you can also use the Track Description and write a big paragraph.

You can even write down the serial number of the microphone used, the distance from the cone center, the temperature... all that stuff.

I think string gauge is a highly influential aspect of tone... so write that down too.

Or, just go over to the amp, turn a few knobs, and rip a punch in. Easy breezy.

mike
