Myself and a few others will be doing a full investigation into this issue. I promise you folks that I will follow up, but alas I need a little rest for the night. I will be available tomorrow however to address any questions on this.
What I do know about this issue already is that some folks are ending up without a SN when upgrading (not when installing from fresh). If you guys want to investigate, you can try adding a "string" value titled "Serial Number" with your Rapture Serial Number to the following registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Rapture
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cakewalk Music Software\Rapture
I'm not sure if you'll need to use your previous serial number or the updated one, but obviously make sure your serial number and reg code pair match with one another.
