does anyone know how to alter the tuning of a vsti or the midi to play synths so that A is set at 432? I can tune my guitar to this but I kind of want to make sure all the other sound generation is of a similar tuning.

You are getting some support and some scoffing - but to me your timing of this post is great. My voice struggles with standard tuning and I have been tuning down for certain songs for many years. 432 is close enough to what I need - but it doesn't have to be that exact pitch. Just lower...  I would like to know if there is a vst midi plug that could set or alter the tuning for any instrument.

Thanks for posting this.

Scala can do this, I believe. It can re-tune MIDI files by using pitch-bend.
