I don't believe the DSF and X2 installers gave an option for location. All my other loops and samples are on independent drives. Now my OCD is forcing me to ask for your opinions. Not to mention my compulsion for keeping my C drive lean. Thanks for any help/thoughts. Binny

Still on X1 here however I have always kept the content on a different drive from the app. Ideally DSF installs where ever you put the DimPro multisamples. The multisample directly can be moved, you need to mod the registry to pick up the new location. The instructions were recently added to this formum (although they are buried with the flood of recent posts). I would image the loops and one shots also have a registry entry but since I am one X1 most of that content was governed by the Beatscape installer which is not part of X2.

Thank you both for the info. I looks like a reasonable amount of work. Let me see if I can work up the guts. I have been in the reg in the past with Ryan from CW. He was very concise. I'm gonna go print out Arachnauts directions.
