From what I've read over the last couple of weeks, the proportion of users experiencing zero problems FAR outweigh those that do.

 
I think this is a fairly accurate statement.  While it may not be exactly "zero" problems, from what I've been reading those experiencing minimal issues (more annoyances than crashes) far outweigh those experiencing an unusable X2.  And the quick fix seems to be pushing the balance even further in favor of a good X2 experience, though not quite in X1d territory quite yet.    Of course, we're looking at what...   one month vs. 18 months? 
 

There are so many variables among users I'm surprised X2 runs at all. I'm having minor sporadic issues of which I'm not sure I'm the cause.

If I had the time and patience I'd zap my HD and do a clean install but the thought of re-installing all the other software makes me wanna cry.

As we go along we learn more and some of my plugs are in the wrong place.

X2 is much more user friendly than X1.

All software has some bugs when first released so if you don't want to be a "beta tester", don't buy software right after its released. You should wait until the first update. You got a discount for being an early user so that's to make up for having to deal with new release issues.

Or buy it at a discount and don't install it until the first update is available. That's what I did with X1.

It's a pain to do but think of the system afterwards.....
