...but no one has ever mentioned it so maybe it's just me. To replicate, open a PRV view, controller pane turned off. Paint in a couple of notes and on my system it ALWAYS shows a velocity next to the note. Go to the "Notes" drop down and 'Show Velocity' is unchecked but still the velocity shows. Check the 'Show Velocity' close the drop down. Re-open the drop down and uncheck 'Show Velocity' and the velocity line disappears, like it should have with the box unchecked when first opened. I've save Screen Sets and all kind of different things but it still shows velocity lines every time I open the PRV and paint a note. With the controller pane turned on, the velocity tails show only in the pane but with it tuned off they ALWAYS show next to the note unless turned on then back off again. Anyone willing to duplicate? Anyone bothered by this?

I must admit that I always have the controller pain open so I have never noticed this. I can confirm, however, that my X2 behaves as you explain above and you have to select Show Velocity a couple of time in order to turn them off.

But to be honest, I will just leave the controllers pain open anyway, so it doesn't really bother me.

Thanks for confirming that behavior Synkro. I like to have the PRV open without the Controller Pane (CP) visible for entering notes then open the Pane to adjust velocities later. I can leave the CP open and it's a really a small inconvenience but I reported this a couple times, gave up, and get frustrated at times when these things go on unaddressed. Thanks again for the reply.
