hi, im in need of some help...i use windows 7 64 and sonar x1d and recently purchesed the tascam fw 1082 as a firewire interface/controller...i got all the drivers installed and even reset the fw 1082 and finally got sonar 2 recognise it...now when i make changes in the counsel view the faders on the 1082 move and when i hit play the "play" light lights up but i cant use the controller in the programm and i dont git any audio sound in playback, neither over the monitors or the headphones...can anyone help me resolve this issue so i can finally use my homestudio again????

Check that your master buss out is set to your correct audio out, that'll be one of the Tascam outs. I'm not familiar with it so I don't know how many it has or which are the main outs. That's where I'd start anyway.

A few things:
Make sure you have the Sonar plugin from Tascam.
Under Preferences>Midi>control surfaces - ensure that the Tascam has both the In Port and OUt port assigned to "FW1082 Control". If you dont see this as an option, go into Midi.Devices and make sure the FW1082 Control is added.

Make sure the Tascam is set so that the "Both F3/F7" button is activated. This controls what signal is being output. By hitting "Both" you are hearing the computer output AND the inputs.
