I'm sick and tired of my midisport 2x2 taking a crap on me and locking up Sonar!!
The UM-2G or 3G looked good until I saw that they're no longer made

Any suggestions? What's worked best for you? (and please don't mention M-Audio)

bet you can still get one .. I have the 3 port cakewalk / roland one (which is also expandable)

as for m-audio and their drivers "quality control" , I won't be buying anything by them now due to that.

depends where you are, but you might find 1 place has 1 b-stock or ex-display even.

I use Midiman 2x2 (old lime version) too and it works fine.
-> Windows 7 64bit
-> Sonar X2 Producer
-> M-Audio MIDISPORT 6_1_2 driver

Maybe this driver works for you.

I use the lime-green midisport 2x2 also, with Windows 7-64 and SONAR 32-bit. It's been rock-solid for me, so I'l second DarkMatter on this one.
