HI

I can't import this .WAV and some other files in x1a.....i can listen to them in x1 but when I try to import them sonar simply does nothing. Usually it creates a new track but it doesn't add the clip . In other daws i can import them just fine......any thoughts ?

I am using X2 Producer and am trying to start a new project.  There are 13 stems to be imported.  When I import, it creates the tracks and inserts the audio at measure 2400+!  I have done this several times as I thought there was no audio.  If I make "now time" at measure 2 and import a single file to a single track, it places it at the same place.  Why would it want to place audio there?

don't forget to select the track....

That one gets me every now and then.

If its a wave or an mp3 it should import every time when done right.

It will import to the now marker....and again, be sure the marker is at the beginning of the project.... this one gets me all the time.

I am at the right spot and the now time is what I need.  I saw somewhere on here about "time stamps".  That might be my issue.

If you have a broadcast wav file SONAR will place the file at the time specified in the file.  I believe there is a place somewhere in preference to either tick or untick a box to keep that from happening.
