I've used it in a few experiments with Mid/Side Chaining, and it works perfectly.

Even better, they have a 64bit version too, so no Bitbridging is required in 64bit SONAR.

i use it also for mid side experiments with mono or near mono files i end up with after recording vinyl records,i dont think Sonar has anything like it but it works really well with different track and bus configurations.

I've been using Channel Tools and set up separate Buses for mid and side. Doing it that way lets you use effects in the FXBin for the mid and side separately before it goes to the Master Bus.

It takes a little doing to wrap your head around it when setting it up the first time, but once you get it, you can create a template and never have to think about it again.
