As some here know from a recent thread that I recently built a new DAW last weekend.
Everything is up and running and I have been using Sonar X2 exclusively.
I was able to get my old Timeworks plugins running using dxshell and am very happy about that but I'm having a problem with getting the old BBE SonicMaximizer up and running.

Has anyone had any success with this plugin under Windows7?

If so, can you give step by step instructions how to do it?

Thanks! :)

Is it a dx plugin?

there were several that I couldn't get to work with dxshell and used a program called Effects Chainer from ACON Digital Media.
Problem is that while it works flawlessly it's no longer supported or available for download. It's a single dll and along with jBridge I've been able to get some pretty delicate/fragile dx plugs to work in SONAR x64 from back at version 6 to X2 at present.

I can email it to you if you want.

Hi Mike! :)

I believe it is a dx plugin. It was created back in the Direct X hey day...
I know that BBE has partnered with Nomad Factory in creating a newer version that is VST and 64 bit compatible.  However, I don't want to repurchase the plugin if I can get my current version running.

Do you hear birds?
cheap..cheap...cheap.... :)

I was very happy when I was able to get the Timeworks plugins to work.
