Notwithstanding current topics, nevertheless has pretty much always been one word and is not considered correct when written with spaces between the words. Nonetheless, other words look acceptable either way (like "health care" and "healthcare") while some are not ready for prime time yet because very few people have ever combined them together (like "each other").
