The build book has gone to print and owner so I removed the link.

I'm glad I shared it while it was mine and that it was enjoyed. Thanks for the kind comments.

Good to see you again Michael and thanks for the heart warming post......I'm sure your friend will truly appreciate the work you've put into this and on many other levels as well. I can't see the pic from my workplace, but will check it at home.
Welcome back!!

Yeh, that's a beaut! Thanks for sharing.

I am not a guitarist except in the loosest definition of the word, but I have formed many attachments to guitars over the years. I still miss my Rickenbacker 12-string. But not once have I formed an attachment to any keyboard instrument, or felt remorse after selling one on.

That's coz your talent is not in the instrument.

Nice book concept Michael.  I also love that you kept the finish natural; you don't see enough of that anymore.  He's going to be one very happy guy!

Steve- Thank you.

Mesh- It is a special build-enough so that not posting it just didn't seem right.

Bitflipper- You may have said it all...maybe it's when we sell one that we realize there's a bond. Been so long with one not sure when I realized it or how.

Craig-Last year Fender released a limited edition that was Oil finished Ash, black pickguard, white trims, Maple neck.
I couldn't believe the body was multi-piece and no exotic neck wood for the price they wanted...oh well...I like the oiled Ash too but think it should be one-piece.  LOL...I thought about that other thread posted a few months ago...maybe I should have cut this one piece in half and glued it back together! ( sorry, just my warped sense of humor)

Wookie-Thanks John. You too my friend.

Really nice. I am looking forward to looking at on the big screen later.

I am hoping it will inspire me to finish my latest stalled electric mountain dulcimer project.
