I meant to say "not" manually created, but Audiosnap sees them as manually created. Sorry for the mis-communication.

When using my own samples, I often use Slate's Trigger to simply generate clean transients. No background noise, just drum hits that are loud and clean. This makes working with AS (relatively) easier to generate proper transients. I don't know how to get much cleaner audio than that.

Just to be straight forward, I don't expect anyone to really have an answer about this as I can't even recreate it at will. Just seemingly random times, although I'm sure at some point it's happening due to something unnoticed by me and the OP. I just figured I'd pipe up because I have actually started the thread months ago that went nowhere haha.

This is the first project I have used audiosnap extensively and I noticed those same "Markers".  I can delete them manually one by one.  Is there a way to select all user made markers, even though I didn't make them, and delete them all at once?

Right click on the clip and Use "Select Markers--->User" but I don't know whether those errant markers respond to that or not. If they have solid diamond heads that would indicate they do but if it is a bug who knows.

Reginald, I have found that when you right click and select user markers (hence selecting them all), it will not delete all markers. It deletes a lot, then 1/2 of what's left, then a few, etc etc. Takes about 10 clicks to get all deleted that way. Why? No idea.

But if you lasso-select (drag select) 1/2 and delete they will all delete. Then drag select the other 1/2 and ur done.

As soon as the threshold slider is touched they return without warning and won't won't go away. PITA. Definitely a bug. It's not even consistent on when it chooses to mess up.

Yup I finally duplicated the situation recording Audio Track. If a false marker falls on top of a normal transient, it will hide it and not register the transient marker. You have to Disable it from the popup window, move the fake one, then disable, and then you can unhide and turn on the real transient  your wanting.

Strange but I think its a bug as well.

I was adding a hihat manually by tapping on the desk recording the hits to convert to midi then SD3 and they showed up all the way down my recording. They didnt copy as midi hits though, but the hits I made that were hid by these false markers did not copy as midi hits, just the ones that were visible markers copied.
