My X1 Producer Expaned has become a little buggy (not saving all mixing data or at least not recalling it correctly) so I want X2 to be a clean virgin install. Does X2 use any files existing in X1? 
If so should I get a new drive and install X2 alone and Windows 7 on it?
 
Setup now is  Win 7  4 gigs RAM all drives 500 gig SATA except external 3TB USB
C Drive programs only
D drive is audio and session files only
E drive is Video files only
F Drive is Backup drive
G Drive is DVD R
H is external backup
 
I am stuck with the 32 bit version because RME doesn't make 64 bit drivers for the Hammerfall card.
