Everything seems pretty slick to me.

My only gripe thus far is that the VST scan seems to be taking twice as long when opening Sonar....??
Disable it. You just have to remember to do a manual scan with any new plugs that you install. I seem to remember Noel mentioning something about speeding up the plug scan somewhere. I actually could leave mine on but I choose not to because I have a special plugin menu that forces me to scan plugs manually so I can add them to my menu. But if you're not installing plugs, kill the scan in preferences/vst settings. Just remember you did it though and don't get scared when/if you install new plugs and they don't show up immediately until you initiate a scan. :)

P.S. Markyzno: I got a billion plugs on this box (it's my test box that I do lots of crazy stuff on) and I just went and turned on scan at startup. It's so fast I don't even see it and only held me up from working for a second longer than just seeing the splash screen. This pc is nothing special...connected to the net, virus protection, tons of programs, Dell Inspiron with 4 gig of RAM and an i3. Plug scan fly's right on by here and honest when I tell you...I got billions of plugs on this from beta testing for a few plug companies.

yup, just did that... :)

My scans started taking a million years after pointing to the NI Komplete 64 bit folder and now longer again in X2.. But kinda irrelevant now as I have disabled Scan on startup....

Cheers...

I have the producer version of x2, and although it is working very smooth, the new console emulator channel pc module is not installed (and I can get x2 to recognize it).

The Bus console emulator shows up when I try to ad a PC module, but not the Channel version (with the trim nob). I checked for the  file (Console Emulator Channel_64.dll) and it is where it should be, but when I try to insert a pc module the console channel emulator is not listed.

Besides this annoyance, x2 is working great.

Ugghhh first crash..... muted and then unmuted the Master channel as track was playing then crash time!

X2 is behaving the same way as X1 for me where it wont release the process after a crash.... (damn it!)

It's still doing that hang of SONARPDR.exe in the Task Manager. I just fired it up then and first project crashed, but that's cause I got a 32 bit plug it doesn't like - did the same in X1. So I'm fine with that, BUT WHAT'S WITH THE 15 MINUTE HANG IN THE TASK MANAGER!!!!!??? I don't want to re-start my computer every time SONAR crashes or wait 15 mins... And no, I'm not using M-Audio, it's Edirol UA 25-EX. And yes I have tried unplugging it :)

Hey Matt,

In Task Manager:
Have you tried right-clicking and choosing End Process?

1. Graphic problem sometimes with the new console emulator. It disappears?
Restart project helps....Sometimes on old BUS old X1 project it's not even react at all ever..BUS  console emulator?

2. One crash yet only. That was during bouncing Kontakt track to audio and I moved and clicked the mouse at the arrangement page during bouncing...
Crash and I got a error message but haven't send it to Cakewalk yet..
