R-MIX does not work for me, but it does work okay in X1.

Edit : All okay now. Problem appears to have fixed itself.

Noticed that when running X2 in Windows7 32-bit it very quckly uses up ram. Last sessions over 2 Gbit dedicated to X2 and about 100+ hard fults/sec. (A hard fault (also known as a page fault) occurs when the page of the referenced address is no longer in physical memory and has been swapped out or is available from a backing file on disk.)

Did not see this behavior in X1, not at all a memeory hog like X2 seems to be.

Is X2 aimed and optimized for 64-bit systems?

Maybe explains why I keep having frequent crashes. Am going to try to use a usb-stick as a readyboost dedicated unit, maybe it will help with this issue...

Had two crashes, seems to relate to Korg M1 emulation, which I think is bit-bridged, sent crash reports both time.

I opened an X1d project in X2.
The output routing dropdown in all audio and instrument tracks, in all buses, in track and console view does not respond.
I cannot re-route audio at all from what was set to at open.

I closed X2, reopened X2, created a new project (Normal), added 2*audio and 2*midi tracks... all output routing dropdowns now operational.
I opened another X1d project and all output routing dropdowns are also operational.
Will o' the wisp... or what?

I have a similar issue, which has not been blessed by the Will o' the wisp as of yet. The drop down menu for the output routing works. I can select whatever is listed in there. It's the input routing that is not working for me. I can see my VS700 listed, but I can't choose the specific input. I installed X2 last night and played my latest X1 project through everything just to make sure the basics would work. Today, I hear nothing (no input, therefore, no output). I have opened a new project and added one audio track and nothing. I opened up X1 and compared my settings - just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Everything looks to be correct. X1 is working fine, too. I have dealt with Rapture not registering (I think mine is working, now). But I have to be able hear something... Any ideas on what I might be missing or fogetting to check?

Thanks!

D'oh! Of course, I ran one more check through the settings and found that Playback Timing Master was set to none. Set that to VS-700 MAIN and now things are SOUNDING great!

Thanks!

...CUT...

One thing I noticed is that the new Smart Grip Snap to setting always seem to get reset to 1/2 note. I have it set to whole note and the secondary setting to 1/4 note. The secondary setting (Hold 'N') is tricky to use. But if I do it, it shows 1/4 note, then when off it goes back to 1/2 note.

Oh, now I see what is happening. The snap resolution is overridden by the zoom factor. As you zoom in the snap value automatically shortens and as you zoom out it lengthens. Nice touch. I must say there are quite a lot of really nice refinements in X2.

It's almost as if every spot on the screen were context sensitive.

I've opened up a couple projects now since installing X2 - I've noticed that sometimes the ProChannel doesn't scroll (in one case making it impossible for me to access the LPF/HPF on the EQ for one of my buses).

I have not experienced any missing Prochannel modules, but I usually keep them collapsed unless they are enabled.

I have noticed that if I insert a new Prochannel module, sometimes a previously-collapsed module opens up.

Very Minor Nit...

Also I noticed that you can remove them all except for the EQ.
Another "Very Minor Nit...™."

Any serious problems loading on top of X1d Expandedx64, I read afew posts were X1 got corrupted? What's the consensus? Please, I haven't made the plunge yet!

I had no problems, I have Producer Expanded x64 at X1d and it works fine still after the upgrade.
