Hi all

I've tried opening a couple of projects in X2 x64 which I'd started in X1 x32 (or earlier in one case) and am missing my beloved Levelling Amp amongst other things.

I've been directed to KVR's site and can find no reference to anything useful.

Any ideas other than installing X2 x32?

Thanks

Dave

You may need to rescan your VSTs. Or you may need to reinstall them.

What does KVR have to do with it? How were you directed?

Dave,

This is a known bug. Cake knows about it. The work around is either reboot Sonar or add another plug in the pc it to create a redraw You can delete the added (dummy) plug after the redraw.

Thanks for your responses

John,

I tried rescanning the VSTs and couldn't actually see any of the PC modules listed - I have them all and they are all (except PC2A) assignable from the usual PC dropdown...How would I go about reinstalling the VSTs? - is it possible without re-doing the whole hog?

I was directed to KVR via a customer service page in Cake that I was directed to from a pop-up in X2. Can't get a repeat of the process so sorry for vagueness but that's the bones of it.

Rocky,

Thanks for the tip - sadly didn't work at this end :-(

All help appreciated! :-)

Did you change the installation location of your plugs when you installed X2 (compared to X1)?
Just curious if maybe you have to include an X1 plugin location as a scan source for the plugin manager.

Also - does it show up in your registered plugs list at the Cake store?

I tried adding the plug in location for the manager...no joy

PC2A shows up as a purchase but unlike other pc modules didn't have a vs1.0.1 or whatever like the others

Right - same here - no 1.0.1 update - It should have both a Serial Number and a Registration Code - as well as a Download Link, though, right?
Maybe try reinstall just the leveling amp from the download link?

That worked Brando, cheers!

All I have to sort now (next post, methinks) is why only 1 of 2 instances of same synth are working in a project...?

I'm glad you got this resolved.  I'm going to mark this thread Solved.
