The "run/stop audio engine" button did not work?

That worked. I guess I shouldn't change my Scarlett's latency settings while X2 is running for now. Otherwise something is immediately better for me. For some bleeding reason I used to not be able to use the High Z setting on my Focusrite 18i6. It would clip on the box and every where else. But now... and I have no idea why this happened... the High Z is functioning correctly. It's kind of weird actually but I ain't complain'. Cheers.

WHAT ABOUT THA COLORS

I don't know. I like the default colors. They are very easy on my weary old eyes but I know others don't like them. I don't fiddle with that kind of stuff anyway for fear of something wonking out on me. There seem to be quite a few threads discussing that topic so check those out and see what the other kind folks here have figured out so far. Cheers and welcome to the forum.

By the way I just went through every single preset on TH2 Producer (the light version that comes with Sonar) and it is already completely making GR5 look like a heaping pile of donkey cookies... and I actually like GR5... and hate generally HATE factory presets. I just wish I had known X2 was coming with a new amp sim earlier. I drop a hundred bucks on the GR5 upgrade. Ooof. Looking forward to dialing in some of my own sounds now. Very VERY realistic and usable. What an improvement. Okay... I'm just gushing now but that is some nice sounding software. Cheers.

To tell you the truth though this included version is sounding like it might be good enough to cover MANY of my uses for it... but yes I am more than curious about the full version now. Those darned Cakesters making me glance over at my wallet with guilt in my heart!

aaaaand I think I'm gonna try swapping out the instances of GR5 in my tester project with TH2. The metal presets are VERY nice. Why the heck don't the demos of TH2 sound like this? This really is light years ahead.
