Great song, and beautifully done. Vocal is startlingly in your face and bang on pitch all the way through. Becky got talent.

Wow!  An impressive first effort by Becky and your usual high standards for performance and production.  I understand your concern about the subject matter--monkeys weren't mentioned at all!

Thanks StreamofHarmonics. The wide guitar was in mastering. I used Ozone 5 and messed with the stereo settings.

Intro guitar is captivating.  I wondered about the vocal treatment in the very beginning but I got caught up in it so that's good.  I am fond of female vocalists and particularly the sweet sounding voices like this.  Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean she can't wail, it just means that I need her address so I can teleport her here for a few tunes.  LOL.  A mellow sounding tune that actually made me relax.  Put that girl to work.  She's at the age where she could work hard with singing as her main goal and achieve that.  If she deosn't plan on singing for her dinner, she sure will be fun to listen to around the campfire or wherever she chooses to play.  I'm on my third listen and it gets better every time.  What is your guitar and recording chain.  Beautiful.

Daryl,

As always, your track is really well done.   I think your daughter is a really good singer, I hear a bit of Mrs.  Daryl tonal quality in there, but she has a uniqueness.   Very pleasant vocal and her timing and vocal decisions are well beyond her years.     I am one who believes singing can't be taught, I think you have it or you don't.   She has it in spades...  Nice one..

Regards

The recording was clean. She sounded fine singing. Ah, back to those days, of learning Beatles songs on a guitar. Perhaps a bit less reverb on her voice or add some echo perhaps (??). Overall, very good. Soon I suppose, she may want to twirl that mic around from the cord while singing in it, moving around, making like she is on a stage, old pops sitting there also with his guitar plucking away trying to keep up with it all.

Loved it, had a great vibe that was created by the well played and mixed guitars, but especially by that beautiful lead vocal.
