Is it worth the risk - even with cloned C-drive - to install-and-go in a money-charging studio?...

They can coexist side-by-side giving you the chance to explore the new X2 work-flow enhancements (at your leisure) while relying on your "trusted" X1 version for paying customers..., until you're confident that X2 can handle things in your studio. And since you're properly cloned, I really don't see any risks in doing so, IMHO.

While I don't think it is more stable than X1 (YET) I do think it is a major improvement in workflow.  Kudos.

Have had a lot of crashes in X2 so I am going to try to download it again and reinstall just in case the files where corrupted first time around. I like to try out stuff (demos and freebies) and don't use this as a computer only for musicmaking which don't really help i guess.

Really like the console emulator, same project in X1 sounds "harder" than in X2 becuase of it. Have still to try out the other new plugs.

The workflow and feel makes me prefer X2 to X1 and I haven't really worked that much in X2 this far, just feels better. Job well done Cakewalk!
