Ok, so have things changed with the way bounce-to-track works in X2?

When I have two tracks which I would like to bounce to one track I select the source tracks and "tracks" as the output option in the menu, then the track I want to bounce to.

After bouncing I am left with two bounced tracks instead of one on the track of my choice?!

This is how it worked in X1, anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Ok, so it appears you cannot select clips by themselves to bounce, rather you have to select them with the left mouse button then select the track using its number then you can bounce, only now when I select MIDI data to bounce I get the message that my selection contains no audio data - so how are you supposed to bounce MIDI?

Are you talking about creating an audio wave from a soft synth & Midi data?

If so, you cannot bounce to track on Midi unless you also have the audio track(s) to which it's related also selected.

If you're just trying to join up non-contiguous Midi clips, you need bounce to CLIP

Regarding your first question, the error here is in selecting TRACKS as an output.

Try using Main outs (and mute everything else apart from your 2 source tracks)
