Can someone tell me why the Global Audio Folder is EVER used by Sonar when Per-Project Audio has been selected in the options?

It seems to happen when working with audio on an external drive. If the drive ever becomes disconnected and Sonar is opened Sonar forgets its brain, and drops files in my Global Audio folder.

What gives? If using Per-Project Audio the Global Audio Folder should ALWAYS be irrelevant.

Peace,

Tunes

Could be when you start a file just jamming around without naming, it has a place to store data.

Maybe I don't understand but it sounds like a fall back procedure for securing data if the per project folder is unreachable.

It makes sense to have the tracks saved somewhere if I just open a file and start recording without saving it. You're probably right that this is why they do it.

What I want, then is to have the audio files copied/moved to the Per-Project audio folder once I do save the project.

Does that make sense?
