I like this a lot. It has a nice progression. The piano licks in the middle are very well done, as if they were done on keys.

What else can be said? Different and sounded fine. Perhaps a bit more of the bass guitar in there on the low end in volume otherwise the song was different and reminded me of what you said it was.

Nicely done Kenny.  The mix of elements is very nice and I found that as it ended I was hoping for more.  Nice!

Hi Tony , thank you for the nice words you said

Very nice Kenny. Love the guitar sound and the synth sounds as well. I'm hoping to get more into my guitars once I have my other sampled work completed. Nice mix and sounds great.

Peace and Blessings, John

Hi John,
I like to blend analog guitar sounds with digital synth sounds …it is nice having the best of both worlds
when it gells it can be pretty synergistic …on this song I feel it has a couple of moments where I feel it gells

I do hope you start using your guitar more even if it is only to lay down simple parts….
it can really add a lot to a tune that has a bit of sampled work in it...
even though I played this song and used a guitar to trigger the synths …without my analog guitar parts , this tune would be an OK place to try and do something ….but it wouldn't be me
thanks John  for the kind words...

Really cool sounds I think, Kenny! Someone above said it feels like it could be a prog rock... such a great idea! Personally I love the ending too

Good job Kenny.  I don't hear much guitar midi stuff and I liked all the colors you created.

Son of a Biotch... I listened, and thought I commented on my phone...

You've got to love synthesizers... They expand your music like other things expand your mind?

Music without synthesizers? Is like "fun" without young women...

P.S. I enjoyed this.

P.P.S, haven't enjoyed a young woman in a while? But that's another story...

Otay, buddy, that works.  Really interesting mix of sounds.  Those midi guitars are very interesting.  Mark has one too.  I like this one, Kenny and will go back in to find what went over my head on the first listen.

Hi Warren ,
I  took a break from playing my guitar after I posted this tune …it might of went over my head too
I appreciate the song listen ,
in some ways  I think this sort of style of song / playing is a little closer to what I would imagine folks might enjoy …
yeah midi guitars are a trip

Not what I generally expect from you, which is what makes it so great.  Now, can you work in some of those crazy Gary Burton chord changes in somewhere?

jsaras,
I thought about your post a lot … I think you are giving me a great idea
thank you for the kind words

Hi Tom,
I've got to laugh about the pounding away part ….
I have friends that just shake their heads at what I'm doing and they have said to me …..
I'll give you this Kenny  …no matter what ….you won't give up

Yes , I hardly ever mention this ……I love playing Bass guitar ….

I'm happy you enjoyed the little runs ..all that was done in real time w the track on a Yamaha 4 string

I'm happy you enjoyed my little tune ...

Hi Kenny,
Cool instrumental, here, with good variations in texture and pace. The interplay between the GTR and fake piano in the mid-section is hot- kinda Zappa-esque.

Cheers,

Bert
